November Fifth...
I don't have much to say. People everywhere are speaking, talking, laughing and smiling. And I'm right with them. What I will say, as a Caribbean American who was born elsewhere and who held America up as "the land of milk and honey and golden streets", is that I am truly moved, truly proud to be a part of this moment in time.

Sending you a great big hug!
yeah, I am too... this was a great moment...

Great! I don't have that same connection to this candidate; I'm just happy because I think he's smart and will lead us well.
I'm still waiting on those golden streets though. That sounds nice.
Those golden streets might require some superior steering control. lol
@MlleRobillard - Thanks for the hug
@dadj_21 - Wasn't it though?
@Shirlann - I completely agree. He seemed like the most competent choice, so I suppose we'll see how it all plays out.
@vanedave - LOL..it's probably better that it wasn't.Still, I love this place just the same. As much a part of me as my place of birth.
@STAYMATIC - LOL..yeah, I'd probably slip off the road and injure innocent people.
